The Pluralist Geo-Anthropology Society/Société de Géo-Anthropologie Pluraliste (PGAP/SGAP) is a private association, whose headquarters is located in Burgundy, 13 Rue Haute, 21150 Seigny, one hour from Paris (TGV Paris-Lyon/Montbard).

It aims to promote in the social sciences and humanities a theoretical, practical and clinical approach, according to which the unification of human society on the surface of the planet is both an irreversible and a pathological tendency. It should not only be studied in itself, but also by seeking possible and sustainable alternatives, particularly in the register of plurality.

The idea of a partition of the coming world society into different specific space-time worlds (that should not be condensable under the dictatorship of one of them) is a central assumption of the new field of pluralist geo-anthropology- in which Denis Duclos has a leading part.

Each year, the SGAP is organizing a series of week-long seminars on the most crucial topics in connection with its approach. This discussion which is not a bunch of lectures, but a debate among peers) aims to advance both theoretical and practical thinking in the fields of geo-anthropology and plurality, this crossing various disciplines on the same field: political philosophy, political ecology, economics, sociology and anthropology, psychoanalysis, history, international law and World, etc..
